The Southington Daycare Providers Association (SDPA) is an association of licensed family home daycare providers who are located in Southington, CT and its townships (Plantsville, Marion, and Milldale). The association began in 1986, and after a short lull in membership, was reinvigorated in January 2009. We have since developed relationships with the Southington Board of Education and the Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington.
The purpose of this site is to assist parents in finding a high quality child care environment for their child. All of our members are certified in CPR and First Aid. Many of us have been in business for 10 years, or longer. We are committed to the early childhood needs of all the children in our care, and many of us take continuing education classes every year.
The SDPA meets monthly to exchange ideas, receive required training & discuss ways to improve the environment of early childhood in our town, and state. We strive to be an inclusive organization, and to support one another in the very demanding, and very rewarding career of home daycare.
